The short version

This website uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and site usage. Analytics loads when a page opens and may set cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

What we do store

The site uses first-party browser storage and Google Analytics cookies.

• Theme preference — stored in your browser's local storage when you switch between light and dark mode, so the site remembers your choice. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
• Google Analytics — typically uses cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies may remain for up to two years unless you delete or block them.

What our host may set

Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, may set strictly necessary cookies to route requests and protect the service from abuse. These are required for the site to work and cannot be turned off.

Managing storage

You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage from your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies may reduce the accuracy of our reports but does not prevent you from using the site. Clearing the theme preference simply means the site falls back to your operating system setting.

Google also provides a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics. If you only delete analytics cookies, the site may set them again on a later visit unless your browser blocks them.

If this changes
