Who we are

Ayka Consulting is a Microsoft-focused consultancy based in the United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

What we collect

We collect information you choose to give us and limited usage information through Google Analytics. We do not use advertising trackers.

• Contact form submissions: your name, work email, company, and the message you write.
• Email and phone enquiries: whatever you include when you reach out directly.
• Website usage: pages viewed, approximate location, referring page, browser and device information, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to provide this information.
• Standard server logs held by our hosting provider, including IP address and user agent, kept for security and abuse prevention.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to scope and deliver work you have asked us about, and to keep records of our business correspondence. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

We use aggregated website usage information to understand how visitors find and use the site and to improve its content and performance.

We will only send you marketing email if you ask us to. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it to do so.

• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 — website hosting, email, and the workflow that routes contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Analytics — measurement of website traffic and interactions. Google may process this information under its own privacy and data-processing terms.
• Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored or processed on Microsoft and Google cloud services. These providers may process data outside your home country. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards offered by the relevant provider, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to engagements we deliver are kept for as long as the engagement and any legal or tax obligation requires, and then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Residents of the EEA and UK have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To make a request, email contact@aykaconsulting.com. We will respond within the time your local law allows. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. Form submissions are transmitted over TLS and handled by a server-side function so that no delivery credentials are exposed in the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes and contact
