Readiness Assessment
Microsoft 365 Copilot Readiness Assessment
Find out whether your tenant is ready for Microsoft 365 Copilot, what to fix first and who to license.
Overview
Microsoft 365 Copilot works with the content, permissions and policies that already exist in your tenant. The Copilot Readiness Assessment gives you an evidence-based view of whether that foundation is ready, across licensing, security, SharePoint and Teams, and data governance, before you commit to a wider rollout.
We review your environment, identify what could expose information or weaken Copilot results, and deliver a report showing your current maturity, the risks that need attention and a roadmap for adoption.

Customer challenges
Challenges we hear from customers
Unclear licensing and prerequisites
It is hard to decide how many Copilot licenses you need, and for whom, without a clear view of current licensing, prerequisites and likely usage.
Oversharing and security exposure
Copilot can surface anything a user can already access. Overshared sites, broad Teams membership and inconsistent permissions become real exposure once AI makes content easy to find.
SharePoint and Teams content that isn't ready
Outdated, duplicated and poorly organized content leads to weak or misleading answers, and undermines trust in Copilot from the first pilot.
No path from pilot to adoption
Without an agreed sequence of remediation, pilot and rollout, Copilot programs stall after the first wave or move ahead before the risks are understood.
What we do
How the engagement runs
- 1
Review licensing and prerequisites
Assess current Microsoft 365 licensing, assignment and technical prerequisites, and where Copilot licenses would add the most value.
- 2
Assess security posture
Review the identity, access and permission settings that determine what Copilot can see on behalf of each user.
- 3
Review SharePoint and Teams
Examine site structure, permissions, sharing, lifecycle and content quality across SharePoint and Teams.
- 4
Review data governance
Evaluate sensitivity labels, retention and data protection controls against how Copilot accesses and surfaces content.
- 5
Build the adoption roadmap
Prioritize remediation and sequence pilot and rollout, with clear recommendations on where to start.
